My name is Ashrafi Dehkordi, born in Farvard 1952 in Shahr Kord. Since the age of seven, I have been reciting the Qur'an (which I have been active in school morning ceremonies for many years) with the encouragement of my family and my late father, who was one of Shahr's singers and tazizia singers, as a non-professional. I studied Iranian music and played the santoor and tonbak and from the age of fifteen I participated in the singing classes of Master Malek Masoudi and Ravanshad of Master Ahad Jangzadeh, and I learned the santor from Master Ebrahim Hosseini and the rows of Master Saba during these years in various festivals at home and abroad. From the country as a def player, I was active as a singer in six Fajr Music Festivals in Tehran, Holy Defense Festivals in Yazd and Shiraz, and a festival in the United Arab Emirates, as well as numerous concerts with different groups. I learned and am still learning from one of the outstanding students of Aziz Mohammad Reza Shajarian) and the advanced course of Daf with Hamid Karbasizadeh from Iran's Khoban Daf and Tabak with Majid Jafarzadeh Samani.
